Here I imagined what it’d be like if a state outsourced unemployment benefits decisions to AI robots. You’d complete the entire flow & process at the behest of the faceless robots, who would render an immediate decision. There would be an appeal robot also on site.

I could fathom in this scenario that people who had the ability to pay for favorable access, would be able to curate human decisionmakers somewhere else entirely.
